Do you know what happens to the collected textiles?
Once collected and sorted, low grade textiles are made in to industrial wipes and car sound proofing in the UK. The rest of the textiles are baled and sent to Africa and other developing nations where clothes are re-used. So by donating to the textile bank, we benefit the school and other countries.
